The new version, Shredder 11, is stronger than any previous version, with its performance improved by about 100 Elo points. This was achieved by implementing more effecient search techniques and a new evaluation function which delivers more realistic assessments. Shredder still likes to go on the attack, but is not as speculative as previous versions. The evaluation of passed pawns has also been greatly improved. All of this leads to more reliable and realistic results during your analysis with the computer.

My very personal impression, which is not secured by a significant number of games but just on a few long games on playchess with my old DUAL AMD vs some big animals there is, that with longer time controls S11 will be a hard opponent for them! This is just to give a first impression about the new Shredder 11. Please have a look at the common rating lists after its release  to get another impression!

První dojem beta testera, který snad není podložený dostatečným počtem partií je ten, že na delší časy může S11 porazit kohokoli.
